The SOGAFRIC Group developed out of the "air conditioning-industrial refrigeration" activity of the Ets Boutonnet company which had been founded in 1954 in Port-Gentil. As early as 1957, the SOGAFRIC company was established in Libreville and, in 1982, it gave birth to SOGAFRIC SERVICES. The refrigeration activities carried out in Port-Gentil were brought under SOGAFRIC SERVICES in 1987. In 2001, SOGAFRIC SERVICES set up its electricity-plumbing department. SOGAFRIC SERVICES, which had already been leading in the fields of refrigeration and air-conditioning in Gabon and Central Africa, now masters the whole range of the construction-related technical areas of activity.

SOGAFRIC SERVICES imports, distributes and ensures the after-sales service of globally-renowned brands, and more especially :
· unit air conditioners and split-systems : AIRWELL, and WESTPOINT ;
· central air-conditioning: CIAT, AIRWELL and CARRIER ;
· compressors : MANEUROP and UNITE HERMETIQUE ;
· ventilation equipment: France AIR ;
· collective equipment: BONNET, DAGARD, DUBIX, SCOTSMAN, WASCATOR and ZANUSSI.

SOGAFRIC SERVICES owns a base at the Oloumi industrial estate comprising a ground surface of 7500 m², of which 5200 m² are covered. The largest part of its activities are now run in Libreville.
The Port-Gentil and Franceville agencies as well as the representations of Oyem and Bata, Equatorial Guinea, carry out locally the execution and maintenance of installations.

Continuing education in the new technologies enables SOGAFRIC SERVICES to have a particularly qualified, motivated and effective personnel.
By building a partnership with institutions providing training in the refrigeration trades and professions, SOGAFRIC SERVICES ensures the quality of its future recruitments.

Uninterrupted investments in the production tool, diversification of the areas for development and continuing education of the personnel make it possible to sustain a significant and consistent growth rate.

SOGAFRIC SERVICES has been able to harness new production technologies in the areas of refrigeration and air-conditioning - especially varying-output-air-conditioning -, centralized technical management, multi-split systems, conversion to new refrigerating fluids imposed by the protection of the environment, etc.

Design and Execution
SOGAFRIC SERVICES designs and executes installations that are perfectly suited to the equatorial climate;
· Air conditioning : office and residential buildings, factories and technical buildings, computer centres, hospitals and laboratories, etc.
· Industrial and commercial refrigeration :cold stores, cold chambers, refrigerated windows, etc.
· Collective equipment : kitchen, laundries, etc.

Maintenance
The Maintenance Department ensures the "in situ" breakdown servicing, maintenance and operation of all air-conditioning, industrial refrigeration and collective equipment installations.
A large fleet of cars together with a radio communication network enable the provision of the service within a very short time.

Management of air-conditioning equipment
The real-time management of parks of air-conditioning equipment for our customers (inventory, maintenance, renewal) is based on a structure provided with appropriate logistical and computer means.

Sales-Advice
The mission of the Sales technicians in this department is to advise customers - professional as well as special - when purchasing equipment or spare parts.
Matching, as best as practicable, expressed needs and technical constraints with the price of equipment or repairs has always been given priority. Since the effectiveness of the after-sales service depends on the company's ability to meet the demand instantaneously as it occurs, the Sales-Advice Department manages a stock of accessories and spare parts designed for the equipment installed.

The mission of the electricity-plumbing department is the designing, execution and maintenance of all construction-and industry-related installations in Gabon and the central African subregion.

It especially handles the following services :
Low-tension distributing panels and networks
Distribution of low-switching currents
Inverters
Electric generators
Street lighting
Water conveyance
Pressure-boosting installations
