EL RAPHA polyclinic : an illustration of a high-tech-based know-how
SOGAFRIC SERVICES carried out the study and installation of air-conditioning as well as the system for clearing smoking at the new "trois quartiers" clinic, renamed El Rapha Polyclinic. This hospital has 4 operating rooms, one resuscitation unit, one emergency unit, one nursery, an administrative department, and offers an accommodation capacity of forty or so beds. In addition to the more traditional air-conditioning-related work including split-systems and vertical cold stores, SOGAFRIC SERVICES made a point of meeting all the technical standards required for this clinic's most critical areas :

The surgery area
Equipments were installed consistent with the rulebook as well as current European standards, and were customized so as to meet the hygiene and safety imperatives required for operating theatres and annexes :
- monitoring and control of the level of dust (absolute filtration)
- monitoring of end of temperature and hygrometry
- provision of areas with pressure-boosting installations so as to avoid the penetration of dust from outside.

MRI installations
SOGAFRIC SERVICES ran a parallel work for the same clinic, namely the installation of air-conditioning in the building housing the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), something unprecedented in Gabon. This type of installation, issuing from cutting-edge technology, had required a lot of attention for its use demands room temperature to be kept stable (important release of heat due to this type of equipment).

For all the buildings
Clearing of smoking : installation of equipment perfectly meeting the anti-fire safety regulations for hospital buildings, rated E.R.P., type IV (Establishment Receiving the Public).

REFERENCES IN REFRIGERATION INSTALLATIONS
SOGAFRIC SERVICES together with the MBOLO supermarket of Libreville had been in the vanguard by anticipating, as early as 1996, the ban on refrigerating gas R502. Both partners had pioneered the conversion of refrigerated glass cases to one of the latest substitution gases developed by Elf Atochem, namely FX10. This work's site, exemplary in many respects, had, for that matter, been visited by the local representatives and international partners of Gabon's Ozone Committee.
Most CHR establishments (Cafés, Hotels and Restaurants) in Gabon are tooled up with the brand of ice-cube machines, SCOTSMAN .
The Ice-Packs of GENEGLACE distributed by SOGAFRIC SERVICES are now installed at :
- the Fishermen's village of Pont Nomba
- the traditional Fisheries Centre
- the association of Omboué fishermen

REFERENCES IN MAINTENANCE / PARK MANAGEMENT
Since April 1998, SOGAFRIC SERVICES has ensured a total guarantee contract for a nationwide provision of air conditioning in OPT facilities (Office des Postes et Télécommunications). The contract includes the maintenance and repair as well as replacement of equipment. SOGAFRIC SERVICES provides also an additional service by ensuring the integral management of all the air-conditioners.

SOGAFRIC SERVICES has been providing a similar service for S.E.E.G. (Société d'Eau et d'Energie du Gabon) for several years and for ELF GABON since September 1997. The maintenance contrat with S.E.E.G. concerns over 1400 air-conditioners and split systems spread out across the country and includes obligations in respect to the replacement of equipment and quality control.

Since November 1999, COMILOG (exploitation of manganese ore) entrusted SOGAFRIC SERVICES with the management of its park of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

 

REFERENCES IN DESIGN / EXECUTION OF COLLECTIVE INSTALLATIONS
SOGAFRIC SERVICES has, among other things, designed and installed all the kitchens and cold chambers of the school of Montagne Sainte. Such installations stand out in terms of their functionality and respect of the latest hygiene and safety standards.
