SCOTSMAN ICE MACHINES
The new-generation Super-Ice machine is equipped with an electronic card which replaces all the traditional electromechanical components (thermostat, automatic time switch, etc) and monitors all the device's operations. All models comprise a water-emptying kit of high-level performance. Most CHR (Cafés, Hotels and Restaurants) are provided with the SCOTSMAN ice machine.

offered by SOGAFRIC SERVICES are complete ready-for-use sets comprising an ice generator, a refrigerating group as well as electrical equipment.

How does it work ?
The GENEGLACE chiped-ice maker is made up of a double-surface fixed vertical cylinder isolated on the outside.
The water is pumped into a distribution basin in the upper part. It flows uninterruptedly on the inner surface except in the area where ice is taken off.
Refrigerant
R22, which evaporates in the double surface, freezes water. Excess water is sent back by a louvre into the base and recirculated by the pump. The main shaft, motor-driven by a gear reducer, carries a lever arm fitted with a helical gearing cutter which, as it spins on its axis, removes the ice which it drops without water in the storage space.
